Your personal data

The term “personal data” refers to any data that can identify an individual directly or indirectly, including your first and last names, postal and email addresses, phone numbers, country of origin, time zones, social media profiles, company name, photograph, job title, area of expertise, IP address, browsing data, as well as any other information you provide to us about yourself.
Identity of the data collection and processing manager
The manager of the collection and processing of your personal data is COMM SANTE, a limited liability company registered in the Bordeaux Trade and Companies Register under number B 410 221 402, whose head office is located at 76, rue Marcel Sembat, 33 323 Bègles Cedex (referred to hereafter as “We”).
Collection and processing of personal data
Your personal data is collected and processed for one or more of the following purposes:
- Manage your access to the services available on the Platform and their use,
- Create a file of registered members and users,
- Send emails related to your participation in the event. If you do not wish to receive these emails, you can express your refusal when your data is collected,
- Develop business and attendance statistics for our services,
- Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
We inform you, when collecting your personal data, whether certain data must be provided or is optional. We also indicate the possible consequences of failing to respond.
We also inform you that we may collect your data indirectly, either from event organizers you participate in, allowing you to benefit from our services, or from other users of our services.
In this regard, you are informed that we reuse your personal data stored in another user’s address book of our services, and they have expressly authorized us to access their contact book to connect you.
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
Recipients of collected and processed data
Our company staff, control services, and subcontractors (hosting and web development providers) will have access to your personal data.
We will also communicate your personal data to the organizers of professional events you are registered for and for which you have used the platform’s services. The event organizer may use the data for the same purposes and under the same conditions as stated in this Charter. However, they remain solely responsible for their legal and declarative obligations in the processing of your personal data they perform independently, with their means, and for their own needs. We are only responsible for our use of your personal data, excluding any other uses made by the event organizer.
Your personal data may also be disclosed to public authorities, exclusively to meet our legal obligations, judicial officers, ministers, and debt collection organizations.
We may transfer your information to service providers, advisors, potential transaction partners, or other third parties as part of the review, negotiation, or completion of a business transaction where we are acquired by another company, merge with it, or sell, liquidate, or transfer all or part of our assets.
Transfer of personal data
Your personal data will not be transferred, rented, or exchanged for the benefit of third parties, except for event organizers you are registered with, to whom we communicate data about you in connection with their events.
We may generate and share with event organizers you are registered for usage statistics collected anonymously among individuals at an event, so they can have a clear understanding of their community’s interaction. These data include both anonymized generic usage data (number of users, average number of user contacts, percentage of added users, number of active users, for example) and personal data related to the events organized by the organizer you registered for.
Security
We take all necessary precautions, appropriate organizational and technical measures to maintain the security, integrity, and confidentiality of your personal data and, in particular, to prevent them from being distorted, damaged, or accessed by unauthorized third parties.
Data storage periods
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to automatically recognize and approve any follow-up comments instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For accounts that register on our site (if applicable), we also store the personal data indicated in their profile. All accounts can view, modify, or delete their personal information at any time (except for their username). Site administrators can also view and modify this information.
Regarding user data:
Your personal data is kept for three (3) years from your last use of the application.
Regarding opposition list management to receiving solicitations:
Information for handling your opposition right is retained for at least three (3) years from the exercise of the opposition right.
Regarding audience measurement statistics:
Information stored on users’ terminals or any other elements used to identify users and allow their traceability or frequency of use will not be kept beyond thirteen (13) months.
Regarding the management of your requests to exercise your rights under GDPR:
Information for managing your requests to exercise rights under GDPR will be retained for three (3) years from the request date.

Hosting
Your data is stored and retained throughout its retention period on the servers of OVH, located in France within the European Union.
Your data will not be transferred outside the European Union as part of the services we offer.
Your rights regarding your data
If you have an account or have left comments on the site, you can request a file containing all the personal data we hold about you, including those you provided to us. You can also request the deletion of your personal data. This does not include data retained for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Legal basis for processing
We process your data based on the following legal grounds:
- The performance of the contract you entered into with us to use our services on our platform;
- Compliance with legal and regulatory obligations to which we may be subject.
Access, rectification, limitation, and deletion of your personal data

Portability of your personal data
You have the right to portability of the personal data you have provided to us, understood as the data you actively and knowingly declared when accessing and using the services, as well as the data generated by your activity in using the services. This right does not apply to data collected and processed based on a legal ground other than consent or the contract binding us.
This right can be exercised free of charge at any time, particularly when closing your account on the platform, to recover and retain your personal data.
In this context, we will send you your personal data by any means deemed useful, in a standard open format commonly used and readable by machine, according to the state of the art.
Filing a complaint with a supervisory authority
You are also informed that you have the right to file a complaint with a competent supervisory authority (the Commission Nationale Informatique et Libertés for France), in the member state where your habitual residence, place of work, or where the violation of your rights occurred, if you consider that the processing of your personal data subject to this Charter constitutes a violation of applicable regulations.
This recourse can be exercised without prejudice to any other recourse before an administrative or judicial jurisdiction. Indeed, you also have the right to an effective administrative or judicial remedy if you consider that the processing of your personal data subject to this Charter constitutes a violation of applicable regulations.
Changes
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify this Charter at any time, in whole or in part. These modifications will take effect upon publication of the new Charter.
Your use of the broadcasting platform following the entry into force of these modifications will signify recognition and acceptance of the new Charter. If this new Charter does not suit you, you must no longer access the broadcasting platform.
